What the study measured
How it was studied
The study included 15 women aged 25 to 48 operated on between November 2021 and January 2022. On average about 44 cm³ of fat was grafted into each longissimus.
Muscle thickness increased by 65.3% on the right and 66.4% on the left, measured in the immediate postoperative period. No adverse events were observed.
What the study does not allow us to claim
The study's measurements are from the immediate postoperative period. It does not report how much of the graft is retained over time.
It is a series of 15 patients. Candidacy is decided in consultation.
