Is remodeling the ribs better than removing them?
They are two different operations. Remodeling repositions the false and floating ribs without removing bone; resection takes them out. There is a systematic review with meta-analysis dedicated specifically to rib remodeling without resection, published in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Removing a rib is irreversible. Repositioning it removes no bone.
The serious comparison between both routes lives in the literature, not in the advertising of whoever practises one of them.
Which one applies in each case, or whether either applies, is a clinical decision.
