What the study measured
How it was studied
The study included 32 women operated on between February and March 2023, mean age 25. Two angles of the chest profile and the length at the point of greatest projection were measured before surgery and at six months.
Pulmonary function tests were also performed: at six months no adverse effects on breathing were observed.
What the study does not allow us to claim
It is a series of 32 patients followed for six months. It does not report longer-term results.
Candidacy depends on each patient's chest shape, which is assessed by examination.
